Through our work with our partners at Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc., we developed a Framework for Action that provides an overview of the trail network along the Grand River corridor that Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI) and partners have maintained at the city, county and regional levels, as well as upcoming plans to expand and connect the network. The Framework for Action helps to emphasize the Grand River Greenway’s value as a place for gathering, recreation, easy access to the waterfront, programming and promoting health in both urban and rural settings along the Grand River’s path.
